Improvement of Existing Systems – provides assistance to electric utility enterprises in improving their existing systems and procedures. The area typically covers financial management and accounting, billing and collection, tariff setting and evaluation of pricing structure, materials management, management information systems, budgeting, business planning, human resources management and development, and manpower planning.

Institutional Strengthening – assists electric utility firms in improving their operations by streamlining existing organizational structures and responsibilities; streamlining work procedures, reporting, monitoring and internal control systems; and designing training programs to upgrade staff and managerial competencies.

Corporatization and Privatization – participates in unbundling state electricity corporations for privatization. Services include asset valuation; due diligence; identification and allocation of liabilities; preparation of opening balance sheets; organizational design, financial management, accounting, management information, and human resources management systems for newly corporatized entities; assistance in the companies’ registration; and general financial advisory assistance.
